Salmand: Iranian Journal of Ageing is the official peer-reviewed journal of the Iranian Research Center on Aging which located at the University of Social Welfare and Rehabilitation Sciences, Tehran, Iran. The journal is published quarterly, since 2006, as the Pioneer journal in the area of aging in Middle East, designed to publish articles on important issues facing today's older adult’s population. The Journal publishes peer-reviewed original articles and commissioned reviews on gerontology and geriatrics. This interdisciplinary journal present views and perspectives from a wide variety of disciplines including ageing process, clinical, epidemiological, psychosocial, and biological aspects of later life. Articles in the categories of Brief Communication, Case Report, and Letter to the Editor that may be of interest to researchers in gerontology and geriatrics are also accepted. Abstracts in both Persian and English and the full texts are free to access to read and download. |
