fa تأثیر یک برنامه مراقبت از سالمند بر نگرش دانشجویان پرستاری نسبت به سالمند سالمند شناسی gerontology پژوهشي Research <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>اهداف:</strong> مراقبت از سالمند، بخش مهمی از وظایف حرفه‌ای پرستار است. در برخی از مطالعات گزارش شده است که دانشجویان پرستاری نسبت به سالمندان و مراقبت از آن‌ها نگرش منفی داشته و تمایلی برای انتخاب محیط‌های مراقبت از سالمندان در آینده شغلی خود ندارند. همچنین اعتقاد بر این است که تجارب بالینی روی نگرش به سالمندان اثر می‌گذارد. لذا پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی تأثیر مراقبت از سالمند بر نگرش دانشجویان پرستاری دانشگاه علوم پزشکی کاشان نسبت به سالمندان انجام شد.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>مواد و روش‌ها:</strong> این پژوهش از نوع مداخله‌ای است که در آن تعداد 59 دانشجوی سال چهارم پرستاری مورد پژوهش قرار گرفتند. نمونه گیری با روش آسان انجام شد. دانشجویان ترم 8 (32 نفر) در گروه کنترل و دانشجویان ترم 7 (27 نفر) در گروه مداخله قرار گرفتند. ابتدا از هر دو گروه پیش آزمون گرفته شد، سپس در گروه مداخله، یک برنامه 10 روزه مراقبت از سالمند اجرا شد. یک روز پس از روز دهم، پس آزمون از هر دو گروه انجام شد. جهت بررسی نگرش دانشجویان از پرسشنامه KAOP استفاده شد. داده‌ها با استفاده از آزمون t مستقل، t زوج، ANOVA&nbsp; ،chi-square و آزمون دقیق فیشر در نرم‌افزار SPSS 11/5 تجزیه و تحلیل شد.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>یافته‌ها:</strong> در پژوهش حاضر، %40/7 از دانشجویان مرد و %59/3 زن بودند. میانگین نمرات نگرش دانشجویان در دو گروه کنترل و مداخله در ابتدای مطالعه تفاوت معنی‌داری نداشت (0/62=P). میانگین نمرات نگرش در گروه مداخله در ابتدای مطالعه 118/18 و در انتهای مطالعه 119/62 بود (0/62=P). همچنین میانگین نمرات نگرش در گروه کنترل در ابتدای مطالعه 119/4 و در انتهای مطالعه 125/37 بود (0/01=P).</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>نتیجه‌گیری:</strong> برنامه مراقبت 10 روزه از سالمندان، تاثیر محسوس و معنی‌داری بر نگرش دانشجویان پرستاری به سالمندی نداشت، درحالی‌که گردش یک روزه در سرای سالمندان با بهبود نگرش به سالمندی همراه بود. احتمالا شرایط نگهداری سالمندان بر چگونگی تغییر نگرش تاثیر داشته است. مطالعه بیشتر در این زمینه پیشنهاد می‌شود.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Objectives:</strong> Caring for aged people is an important part of professional nursing. Some researchers reported that nursing students have a negative attitude towards elderly care and do not like to choose the elderly care settings in their future career. This study aimed to assess the impact of a program of caring for the elderly people on nursing students&#39; attitudes toward the elderly, in Kashan University of Medical Sciences.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Methods & Materials:</strong> An interventional study was conducted on 59 fourth year nursing students. 32 students were in the control group and 27 ones in the intervention group. Both groups were initially pre-tested, then the intervention group were placed in a 10-day program for caring of the elderly. One day after the 10th day post test was done in both groups. Kogan&rsquo;s attitude towards old people (KAOP) questionnaire was used to assess students&#39; attitudes. Data analysis performed using independent sample t-test, paired t test, ANOVA, chi-square and Fisher exact tests in SPSS11.5 software.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Results:</strong> In the present study, 40.7% of the samples were male students and 59.3% were female. The mean scores of attitude towards elderly were not significantly different at the beginning of the study (P=0.62). The mean scores of attitude in the intervention group were 118.18 and 119.62 at baseline and at the end respectively (P=0.62). Also, the mean of attitude scores in the control group were 119.4 and 125.37 at baseline and at the end respectively (P=0.01).</p> <p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Conclusion:</strong> Elderly care program had a negative effect on the attitudes of nursing students toward the elderly. The living arrangement and the condition of the hospice perhaps had effect on how changes in the attitudes have occurred.
